LOYAL & TOUGH. What could possibly be a better mascot for a Leather Neck that the bulldog? Gentle when rubbed, fierce when threatened, the bull dog is like the Marine in so many ways. Not particularly attractive, in fact, kind of hard on the eyes but ladies still can't keep their hands off them. Bulldogs are like that too!!

Printed in the 'all over' fashion is the expert rifleman's badge...need we say more? Every Marine is a rifleman and every Marine exudes excellence.
