The coat of arms artwork has an eagle, shield and flourishes that harken back to the days of unabashed late 19th century patriotism and pride in America. Underneath that is says Adduco Iter Itineris (Lead the Way in Latin). On the bottom slightly arced is MDCCLXXV (1775). On the back is a small shield and flash that says Curatoris Libertas (Guarantors of Liberty).
